Charlton Athletic Women v Man Utd Women live: score, updates and line-ups

Full time at The Valley: Man Utd Women 3-1 Charlton Athletic. Toone, Medina and Zigiotti Olme all found the net inside the first half-hour to put United firmly in command, and despite Davidson's quick reply keeping Charlton briefly in touch, the visitors were never troubled thereafter. United finished the game with total control - 18 shots to three and over three-quarters of the possession - and even late offside calls against Jusu Bah and a missed effort in stoppage time couldn't spoil a thoroughly professional away win.

United have gone even closer to a fourth as Schüller struck the post with a left-footed effort after coming off the bench, with Park again the provider. Charlton have had little back beyond a corner and a Davidson foul, as United's dominance continues unabated - 16 shots to two, and still over three-quarters of the ball. Fresh legs from Bernal and Jusu Bah haven't altered the pattern, with the visitors cruising towards the finish at 3-1.

United have continued to dominate at The Valley, maintaining their stranglehold on possession (76.5%) and adding a couple more shots to push the tally to 15. Zigiotti Olme picked up a booking before making way for Awujo, with Schüller also introduced for Terland as changes were made on both sides, while Charlton have made do with the odd free-kick to break up play. Still 3-1, with United comfortably seeing things out.

A quieter spell at The Valley, with Charlton finally winning a couple of free-kicks and a corner through Lobato to ease the pressure slightly. United's shot count has crept up to 13 but they've been unable to add to the scoreline, with Zigiotti Olme and Park both pulled up for fouls as the hosts try to break up the visitors' rhythm. Still, United remain miles ahead on possession and shots, firmly in control of the game at 3-1.

United have kept pushing without adding to their tally. Janssen forced a smart save from Whitehouse after a run down the right, and Terland was flagged offside moments later as the visitors continued to dominate territory and possession (now 78.5%). Charlton have barely had a sniff, still with just two shots all game, as United look comfortable in control at The Valley.

United continue to dominate approaching half-time. Tullis-Joyce had to be alert to deny Hutton after a rare Charlton foray forward, but at the other end Zigiotti Olme twice went close and Janssen's effort from outside the box drifted just wide. The visitors remain in total control of possession and territory as they look to add to their 3-1 lead before the break.

United have continued to dominate possession and territory since Davidson's reply. Zigiotti Olme crashed a shot against the post before Terland saw a follow-up blocked, and further efforts from Toone and Medina were both snuffed out by the Charlton defence. The visitors keep racking up the corners and shots but can't find a third just yet, with Charlton barely able to get out of their own half.
