Full time in Lombardy and it's a heavy defeat for Manchester United. Nico Paz was the architect of Como's rout with two goals either side of Douvikas' third-minute-of-the-second-half strike, before Jacobo Ramón headed in a fourth from Kaiki's cross. United's response was far too little, far too late, Zirkzee's stoppage-time finish from Amad's cross merely taking the sting out of a thoroughly chastening night. A result that offers little encouragement before United's next Champions League test.

A small crumb of comfort deep into added time - Zirkzee turns home Amad's cross to get United off the mark. It's little more than a consolation given the scale of the damage already done, but it ends a miserable night in Lombardy with at least a goal to show for it.

United have at least pushed for a consolation in these closing stages - Amad had a blocked effort and then forced a smart save out of Butez, while Dalot also saw a shot charged down. It's pride alone being salvaged now though, with Como's Kempf and United's Lacey both booked as this one winds down 4-0 with the damage long since done.

United have at least started finding the net of Jean Butez's goal, even if the end product is still missing. Lammens had to deny Nico Paz again before Tielemans and Amad both went close with efforts from range, and Bruno's late involvement in the Amad chance was his last act before making way for Zirkzee. It's a response of sorts, but 3-0 down with Como still holding the edge in possession, United need a goal to make this mean anything.

Disaster for United early in the second half - Douvikas slots home Nico Paz's through ball to make it 2-0 and Como are cruising. The changes at the break haven't had the desired effect and United now face a real uphill battle in Lombardy.

Quiet start to the second half - the only change has been a double substitution at the break, with Baleba and Amad coming on for Santos and Cunha. Stats are identical to half-time, so it's early days in this period, but United will want a much better platform after a difficult first 45 in which they trailed 1-0 and managed no shots on target.

Como have finished the half the stronger side - Douvikas forced a smart save from Lammens before dragging another effort wide, and Baturina's late strike also needed to be dealt with. United's discipline remains an issue too, with fouls now up to nine, though Dalot and Mbeumo have at least kept things ticking at the other end. Como lead 1-0 and go in on top as we approach the break.

United are becoming increasingly undisciplined without really being overrun - Santos picked up a yellow for his foul on Nico Paz, and Dalot, Cunha and Mbeumo have all given away free-kicks in this spell too. Como keep the ball well but haven't added to the shot count, so it's territory rather than real danger from the hosts right now.

United have started to find a bit more joy going forward. Maguire headed narrowly wide from a corner, and the shot count is now level at 2-2 as Mbeumo and Bruno get more involved.
